Known as one-half of the hip-hop duo OutKast, André 3000 has surprised his fans with the release of a new album, '7 Piano Sketches'. (Monday 5th May 2025). After OutKast was recognised in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, inducted in the Performer category, André 3000 has now come forward with some new music, elevating his sound as a solo artist.
'7 Piano Sketches', is a 7-song collection of instrumental sounds focusing on the piano, that was partly composed before his first album release, 'New Blue Sun', in 2023, which contained heavy flute influence. The album, released on the same day as The Met Gala, displayed great creative direction as the artist displayed the same vision on the carpet to match his album cover.

After his last album, 'New Blue Sun', gathered three Grammy nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, André 3000 is staying true to what aligns with him after saying, 'I can only do what I’m into'.
