New York restaurant Buvette is opening a site in London. The cult favourite French bistro, which opened in New York City’s West Village in 2011, will open its fourth branch at Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden on Thursday 4th June.
Opened by Jody Williams, who won the 2019 James Beard Award for Best Chef in New York City, Buvette expanded beyond its original West Village site, establishing eateries in Hibiya, Tokyo in 2018 and Gangham, Seoul in 2022. Its upcoming fourth site in London, located in a tucked away spot on Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden, boasts a classically French menu, including coffee, croissants and smoked salmon in the mornings, croques and salad niçoise in the afternoon, and with the likes of coq au van and steak tartare later in the day. Cognac French 75s, martinis and French wines make up its drinks menu.
Buvette opens in Covent Garden on Thursday 4th June.
