The acclaimed immersive exhibition David Bowie: You’re Not Alone is set to reach even more fans after announcing an extended run in London and a brand-new residency in Manchester.

Currently showing at Lightroom in King’s Cross, the production will now continue beyond its original October closing date, running through the end of 2026 and into January 2027. A special week of performances from 5th to 10th January will also mark what would have been David Bowie’s 80th birthday.

The experience will then make its Manchester debut at Aviva Studios, where it will take over the Warehouse space from 8th December until 10th January.

Created by Lightroom and designed by 59, a Journey studio, the production combines large-scale visuals with rare archive footage, iconic performances and audio taken from Bowie’s own interviews. Drawing on material from the David Bowie Archive in New York, the show explores key moments from his career, from Space Oddity and Diamond Dogs through to Heroes and ★ (Blackstar).

Written and directed by Mark Grimmer and Tom Wexler, the immersive experience was developed in collaboration with and authorised by the David Bowie Estate.

Since opening, David Bowie: You’re Not Alone has received widespread critical acclaim, with reviewers praising its blend of music, storytelling and archival footage. The newly announced extension means audiences in both London and Manchester will have another opportunity to step inside the world of one of music’s most influential artists.
