This Friday sees Manchester night Cutloose welcome Brixton's finest Felix Dickinson to Manchester, to set their Christmas celebrations off with a bang.

Based in the subterranean vault that is Manchester's Roadhouse, Cutloose came together in the Summer of 2008, with the simple aim of putting on good parties with amazing music.

Cutloose took 60 seconds with Brother Felix aka 'Foolish Felix' ahead of this Friday's Xmas party. And here's a recent from Felix to get things swinging:

Bring It ! by Felix Dickinson

Welcome back Felix, hope all is well. A few quick questions and a warning in advance this is going to be a hard hitting interview...

What five records are getting some regular plays from you at the moment?

1. Jamie Blanco - Night Closure

2. Parkway Rhythm - Working Girl

3. Marcos Cabral - Get Get Get

4. King & Hound - My Time Your Time

5. Bulgari - My Weakness

Ah yeah Parkway Rhythm and the King & Hound are popular choices, as obviously is Jamie Blanco. What is your favourite colour?

Arsenic Blue

That's pretty deep. Where does the Foolish moniker come from?

Dan Idjut christened me Foolish as an honorary Idjut, although I can't be sure what foolish behaviour originally warranted the moniker. He now calls me Jackie, but I'm not about to confuse people with yet another name change.

Haha that's brilliant. Cynic seems to be going from strength to strength and the releases on L.H.A.S have been warmly received - what’s happening in 2012?

Next up is another LHAS Inc. release with a remix from Phoreski. Got a few other things lined up after that, but gonna keep them close to my chest for the time being.

Okay if that's how you want to play it! Finally, do you play any disco?

Don't really play much sports, what's disco? Is it a team game?

Not really mate it’s more of a lifestyle choice.

On a very serious note get yourself down to Cutloose for the last party of 2011 - expect a night of high revelry and great music.
