First up we have the return of Paulette Goes Bang, on Saturday 23rd March, following her sell out launch event back in January. This time she welcomes Guy Williams and Disco Mums to the decks to party with her!

\n

The expansion of Paulette’s universe was created primarily out of a desire to dig deeper, to return to and explore the underground, to mine for musical diamonds and to encourage those with the ears to hear, the hearts to love and the eyes to see to journey with us to the centre of this earth.

\n

Musically it is a deep house and tech session that began as a monthly session at the Experience Bar, Hotel Es Vive in Ibiza throughout the summer of 2012 and has now blossomed into a pop-up experience that, like a cat, has more than one home. It can be found on Sundays monthly at Les Agités in Paris, on Thursdays monthly at Bar 4 Elements in Paris and on Saturdays bi-monthly here at 2022NQ in the heart of the Northern Quarter in Manchester. The BANG ethos is to explore new cities, to encourage and nurture new talent and to play sexy music that inspires a baby boom.

DISCO MUMS

\n

Disco Mums are an all female manchester based dj collective of seasoned clubbers (now proud parents) who, courtesy of the babysitting skills of a team of generously paid helpers, are still out. Having taken over the decks at clubs around manchester they pass the headphones generously (no male egos here) spinning a collective set of sly gems, treasured classics and out and out bombs from the disco, soul, funk and house genres. They\'ve danced to them like their lives depended on it and- using their extensive knowledge of what works and what doesn\'t- they\'re now playing them. And on real plastic too.
