2013 Round-up: H.O.S.H (Diynamic)

We spoke with Diynamic’s Deutsch disco destroyer H.O.S.H earlier on in the year, the celebrated producer and DJ enthusing as the Ibiza season was coming to an end. We wanted to see what his thoughts were for the year overall too, so he was a natural choice to offer an insight of 2103. here's what he had to say.

How has 2013 been for you then overall?

It really has been an outstanding year again, I must say. I produced more than previous years and was lucky to have a full schedule touring. Plus a great second Ibiza season, I moved to Madrid and also in private - a fulfilling Episode has begun this year.

What highlights have you had?

For sure, these were all of our Diynamic Nights. Miami, Sonar, ADE, Bermuda and at Sankeys in Ibiza.

You’ve done a Spotify playlist for us, thanks! Explain the songs you’ve chosen and why?

These are the tracks I played most this year. Some were obvious favourites by those like Agoria’s ‘Scala’ and ‘Ten Walls’ from Gotham, but also some are my personal highlights – such as the Martin Patino track and Andhim’s ‘Walkmen’.

What other music have you been into this year?

As I have just moved, I’ve been going through all sorts of different music again - as a result of sorting through my records. I really have no limits when it comes to music, it just needs to move me in some kind of way.

What have you got planned for New Year's Eve?

The long NYE starts off with two final Diynamic Showcases, for a perfect end. The first at Electric Brixton in London - and the day after at Victoria Warehouse. I am really looking forward to those. 

Then I’ll be flying straight to Mexico for NYE, to celebrate at a nice party with my Mexican friend Carlos Light - and his friends in Mexico DC. From there we go straight to BPM with the whole Diynamic Crew, and right after I will tour the Americas.

And finally; any plans you can let slip for 2014?

I am so excited to finally have a month off for producing and to study Spanish in February. There are also great plans already in place for the next Ibiza season. More news soon :)
