The life of Tupac Shakur has long been immortalised in the minds of Hip Hop heads since his untimely death more than 20 years ago. But later this summer, Lionsgate/Codeblack Films will bring Pac's story of rising stardom to life on screen with the biopic All Eyes on Me.

To celebrate Real Records Productions are hosting a 2pac & Biggie themed night at Gorilla Manchester on the 23rd June 2017 (11pm-4am) with 2 of the city?s best DJ's battling it out East Coast v West Coast style.

Tupac Amaru Shakur was born Lesane Parish Crooks; June 16, 1971 , also known by his stage names 2Pac, Makaveli, and Pac, was an American rapper and actor. As of 2007, Shakur has sold over 75 million records worldwide. His double disc albums All Eyez on Me and his Greatest Hits are among the best-selling albums in the United States. He has been listed and ranked as one of the greatest artists of all time by many publications, including Rolling Stone, which ranked him 86th on its list of The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. He is consistently ranked as one of the greatest and most influential rappers of all time. On April 7, 2017, Shakur was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

2Pac and Biggie Smalls never really left in spirit and their music is the stuff of legends. Coming only 8 days after the the release of Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me this will be the perfect way to celebrate the life and work of the west coast rap god and his east coast counterpart the Notorious B.I.G. This one is going to be bouncing all night long with two huge Manchester DJs battling it out in true East v West style.
