Review of Free Entry House Party

This was our first time at Depo, and unfortunately, it likely won't be our last time choosing a different venue. We paid £6 each (after free tick*ts sold out), which felt fair until the night actually unfolded.
On the plus side, the music selection was solid. However, the technical side let it down. The bass was incredibly uneven and far too aggressive, suggesting the speaker system or the room's acoustics haven't been dialed in properly. It drowned out the actual tracks rather than enhancing them.
The biggest letdown, however, was the professionalism. The event was advertised until 4:00 AM, but at 1:50 AM, we were told they were closing early because there "weren't enough people." We drove all the way from Exeter for this, only to get 3.5 hours of clubbing before being kicked out because the venue couldn't be bothered to stay open. We've never experienced a venue just giving up like that in Exeter. Really poor form for a well-known club. We will not be recommending it to our friends.
