UNKNOWN SOCIETY

Truth Through Vinyl.

Good music. Proper DJs. No pretence.

Unknown Society is a Leeds-based music community built around a shared love of records, great DJs and the dancefloor.

Rooted in the heritage of house music and inspired by the sounds that have shaped dance culture, we bring together funk, disco, house and everything in between. From intimate DJ sessions to day-to-night events, every gathering is about the music, the atmosphere and the people in the room.

We're here for the selectors who know their records, the dancers who know their tunes, the collectors who are always searching for the next gem, and anyone who believes a great night out is about more than just getting through the door.

WHAT WE'RE ABOUT

🎶 Music first. Always.
Great selections, forgotten gems, dancefloor favourites and sounds that deserve to be heard.

💿 Vinyl culture.
Records are at the heart of what we do. No sync, no shortcuts, just a shared respect for the craft and culture of DJing.

🤝 A proper community.
No VIP nonsense or unnecessary barriers. Just good people coming together through music.

🔊 Good nights, done properly.
From intimate sessions to parties that keep you moving, we create spaces where the music does the talking.

Based in Leeds, with our sights set on bringing more people together through the records we love, Unknown Society is for anyone who believes dance music is better when it's shared.
