Good people dancing to good music, in the heart of Birmingham's creative quarter, Digbeth.
Can I buy tickets on the door?
Potentially! If the event is showing as sold out- then probably not, but our club nights are always pay on the door- and most events have a few tickets reserved for on the day
Does buying a ticket guarantee entry?
Not necessarily- staff and security reserve the right to turn people away if you break The Night Owl dress code, are too intoxicated, or have been previously barred from the venue.
Also note that some events may have certain times where entry is guaranteed, so make sure to check!
Why are tickets more expensive on the door?
Because we need to know who's coming!
We are a small independent club, and if no one buys tickets in advance, we have no way of knowing how many people are going to show up- meaning events may get cancelled, there won't be enough staff (meaning you'll have to wait longer for a drink), and many other factors.
The best bet is... buy in advance!
Is there a dress code?
We have a very basic dress code- no jogging bottoms or sportswear.
We're a retro club, so if you want to dress up to the 9's we would love that! But if jeans and a top is more your thing - that is totally fine too!
Are there any age restrictions?
Most of the time we are 18+
Some events may be family friendly, and that will be stated in the event description
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
We are! There is a small step into the venue, but we have a ramp that security will put out when needed.
We have a downstairs accessible toilet.
The stage and mezzanine areas are not wheelchair accessible but these are usually spaces for just the bands
Where exactly is The Night Owl?
We are right in the middle of Lower Trinity Street!
We are a 15 minute walk from Birmingham New Street Station, and a 5 minute walk from Digbeth Coach Station and most bus stops.
On Friday and Saturday evenings- the road is not accessible by car- so if you're driving or getting a taxi we recommend heading to Heath Mill Lane or Adderley Street
