What is The Sound of Ascension?
We're a Manchester-based dance music community for people who still love a proper dance floor. Carefully selected DJs, longer sets, incredible music and good people. No egos. No idiots. Just music.
What kind of music do you play?
We're not a genre. We're an energy. Expect everything from house and garage to old-school rave influences and the unexpected tracks you didn't know you needed to hear. We give our DJs the freedom to take you on a journey.
Are your events just nostalgia nights?
Absolutely not. We love the music we grew up with, but we're just as excited about discovering something new. It's not nostalgia. It's unfinished business.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely! We have a growing Solo Ravers community for people who love dance music but don't always have someone to go with. You'll be made to feel welcome.
What age group are your events for?
Our events are designed for grown-up ravers, with a focus on great music, good company and all of the energy without the 3am finish. Individual events may have different age restrictions, so always check the ticket listing.
