A stone’s throw from the beach, on historic Ship Street in Brighton’s Lanes, you’ll find the Walrus. A labyrinth of a pub with winding passageways. multiple floors and even a two-storey roof garden. Parking is at "The Lanes multi story car park" with a short walk to us or "The regency car park" in Blackman Street just near the train station - it is a 10 minute walk from there.

Comedy is rarely intended to cause offence but we have a number of comedians competing for the coveted Mug - of varying abilities. Their experience level fluctuates wildly and we cannot guarantee that some of what they say would not be suitable for under 18s. Sometimes they will intentionally say something intended to shock, believing this to be funny - they lose the audience very fast and the silence is very telling - they generally do not do it again... if they don't learn, we ban them ...

We would prefer not to! We use the ticket sales to pay for some professional comedians and we base their quality on the amount of tickets we get - but sometimes circumstances dictate a refund and we have never refused a direct refund request.
