Manchester-based imprint Libero Records is quickly becoming a staple in the diet of many underground tech-house appreciators. With a stripped-back approach and rhythmic grooves teeming throughout their already blossoming catalogue of releases, it’s easy to see why the label’s exposure is growing at an exponential rate.

Label frontmen Mike Morrisey, Luke Welsh and Dan Costello lead the march in pushing the Libero Sound to the masses.

Building around a focus on percussive, minimalist tech-house inspired by concepts like the infamous Music On and artists like Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna and many more; Libero’s ethos is centred around the rolling soul of underground dance music. Through the label, as well as regular events and a frequent podcast series, they consistently broadcast their simple yet effective Libero Sound ideology to the farthest corners of the scene.
