Review of KISSTORY Cardiff

As a solo raver, I think this was clearly the last event in the summer calender.
There weren't too many live acts, the djing was a but lazy ans it wasn't packed.
However,  the vibes were good and the crowd made the best of it. There was no trouble. 
I think Kisstory is best if it's open air and before the end of the summer holidays. This one was average.

The event in itself was enjoyable, food looked good (didn't indulge) all staff very pleasant, ladies toilets not the best and very long queues for both toiletsand bars..  We paid extra for VIP tickets and the only difference we could see was a packed VIP area which we couldn't take advantage of due to the small size of the area. 
I think the venue  1st Bute park then advertised as taking over cardiff castle then the actual venue. 
We very much enjoyed the day and are thinking about next year

When the acts were on the stage, it was amazing! But why open at 2 for som**hing that doesn't start until 7? And where were So Solid Crew?! Nobody 'closed' the show. Anticlimax at the end.
Toilets were grim!

The music was 10/10. Everytime we tried to leave (from exhaustion) another banger came on. It would help if djs communicated as it was alot of songs repeated over & over again. The food (dirty bird) was absolutely incredible. Great value for money as it was so delish. Drinks were a little overpriced especially as the tap lager was warm. Most staff were kind & friendly, security did a great job although there was no trouble that we seen. I did get served by the same girl twice at the bar who did the whole interaction without saying a single word & did the same to other before me. Great location, toilets although busy at time always stocked with paper & relatively clean. Cloakroom was easy to use. The main thing missing is Aircon! Or at least some ceiling fans maybe 😬. When it filled out it became unbearably hot & had to spend a lot of time going in & out of the smoking area to breath! Will definitely be back next year! Group of 4 women, aged 21-41!!

Change of venue did not work. It was way better outside in bute park . Bit of a waste of money this time round

We were a bit disappointed not to be outside in the field by the castle like last year, but I thought it was a really good alternative. I was in the VIP section with great views of the stage and easy access to the bar. The music was phenomenal, so much so we did over 30,000 steps dancing to it!!! It was amazing start to finish!!! Roll on next year!

Relaxed atmosphere met some lovely people 
tunes were banging, lots of toilets and no long ques to get a drink 
Look forward to next year 🫶
