Review of Noir at the Bar presents: Oh I do like to die beside the seaside

Very enjoyable night, lots of interesting writers and opportunity to buy books and get them signed. Very good value for money too!

What a treat of an evening this was!  Hearing authors reading out their own words and the chance to chat all things 'crime fiction' over a drink while deciding which books to buy - it flew by.  I do hope there will be a repeat some time!

loved the format and the different authors but mostly went because I love Ann Cleeves books. she is so lovely. I enjoyed listening to the other authors too.

Myself and my friend found Eliza's workshop very interesting and informative and it sparked off lots of ideas and inspiration. Eliza had carefully prepared a session that felt relaxed and yet productive and had curated lots of helpful info and resources to take away too. The exercises she'd planned for us were fun and allowed us to push out of our comfort zones and try new things. Both of us bought copies of Eliza's novel afterwards. Thank you again!
