Getaway Comedy have been producing comedy shows for over a decade (previously under the banner of The Stand-Up Club), and have built up a reputation as one of the best run and funniest comedy clubs in the UK. We also founded and run the £10,001British Comedian of the Yearcompetition, with the biggest cash prize in British comedy. As well as our regular clubs we also work wth School PTA Fundraisers, Sports Clubs, Arts Centres, ex-Servicemen’s Clubs, Restaurants and anywhere that wants proper comedy. - It’s all about the laughs at Getaway Comedy. Expect a delicious mix of playful, unapologetic, dark, punchy and (most importantly) very funny stand-up.
- Our main aim is to make sure our audiences have a top night out.
- Line-ups are booked purely on merit (ie. how funny each act is), with an emphasis on making sure there’s a variety of comedic styles for you to enjoy throughout the show.
