Fringe Flicks

Fringe Flicks is People Versus TV’s underground film night, bringing strange, inventive independent cinema to Liverpool in a relaxed and social setting.

Expect handpicked short-film programmes, cult screenings and collaborations, with alternative film posters and zines, themed playlists, audience voting, a raffle for fabulous prizes, and time to hang out after the films.

We like cinema that’s funny, unsettling, experimental, handmade, difficult to categorise or simply a bit wrong. Fringe Flicks is serious about the films without being formal about watching them. Our events are welcoming, communal and open to curious audiences, whether you’re a filmmaker, a massive film nerd or just looking for something unusual to do.

Events are usually Pay What You Can, helping keep adventurous independent cinema affordable and accessible.
