Review of 30+ Day Party | Hertford

This event was completely misleading! I was expecting a mini festival themed day sesh and instead we payed over the odds for entry into a bar. I've emailed the company and had no reply. This was bought as a birthday gift and I'm actually embarrassed. Totally misleading and falsely advertised!

Was basically just the same as just rocking up normally. Not sure what we actually got for out money? Nothing was on. Nothing from the advertisement for the event actually happened.

Book this event was really looking faward to it. But we got there and there was only 4 small bars no propa stage like it was advertised and vip was a shambles from the start we stayed as long as we could before we got fed up felt very disappointed i wish I didn't buy the tick*ts to this event.

The event was not as advertised. It said 4 different areas which there was only 1 bar. This was very small. For just under £40 for 2 I thought this was a rip off. Left after a couple of hours. Not impressed at all

The event was billed as som**hing that never had a reality of delivery. I'd think they will be lucky if legal action by some of the tick*t holders wasn't pursued.

Not as advertised whatsoever, 1 dj in a small terrace is not what I paid £20 a tick*t for. This was advertised as 3 separate areas, festival vibes. Not what I paid for.

We paid and got nothing everything was cancelled.the beer and lager was dreadfull and overpriced all there was ,was a DJ

It is really disappointing that the organisers made the decision not to cancel this event when they would have been aware that they had not sold enough tick*ts. Instead they chose to 'scale things back' so there was only one DJ playing in one venue, no different from anywhere else at the Fringe event in Sheffield centre on the same day - which is free and had a far better atmosphere.  We had booked VIP tick*ts to find there was no VIP area, and were given 2 drink tokens each as compensation. The toilets were disgusting. The atmosphere was dreadful as folk had paid good money for a day out that fell way short of being considered barely average. We have submitted a requested for a full refund to the organisers. A real shame as the Steel Yard could actually be a great venue.

Great music had everyone singing and dancing.
