Review of Comedy at the Castle: Friday Night with Joanne McNally + more!

I attended Comedy at the Castle on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. The castle venue was amazing and I saw some brilliant acts. However, there was a real issue with the timing, as there was a long wait for the show to start, then one short act, then an interval, then two short acts, then an interval, then the headline act. Overall, I was at the venue for four hours per night and only about half of that was spent watching acts. Over three nights, this added up to a lot of wasted time. I would consider attending again next year but would definitely only do one night instead of three.

The entire right hand side of the seating area is higher than the stage so you cannot see the acts at all.  Also each comedian did a very short set with massive breaks Inbetween.

Great evening overall. Food and drink a little pricey but everywhere is these days. One less break would have worked better for us. Know hard to please everyone!

Great night, fab acts,  seats could do with being comfier but I understand there use in terms of practicality. Bar prices weren't stupid either, but the queues at the bar were very disorganised. This could have been avoided if a member of staff was regulating people joining the line.
Wasn't keen on the compare,  others seemed to like him.

There were too many breaks and not enough time watching the headline act. Great venue though!

Had a fab time, excellent venue and facilities, lovely staff

Comedy show in an epic venue. Really lovely evening.
