The Challenge Festival is coming to Bingley on the weekend of May 24-26 this year.

The three-day event is led by Ian Andrews-Swailes, chair of the Saltaire Festival.

On Sunday, Peter Andre, Gareth Gates and Ellie Sax will be joined by tribute acts to Kylie Minogue, Vengaboys, Madonna and Steps.

Additionally, there will be markets and a variety of global foods and drinks.

A spokesperson for the festival said: "We are excited to announce a confirmed lineup so far for the VIP area of Challenge Festival on the Sunday of Peter Andre, Gareth Gates and Ellie Sax, then the best tribute acts in the country of Kylie Minogue, Vengaboys, Madonna and Steps plus DJ.

"It is a three-day event. In the VIP area there is an outdoor cinema screening showing Barbie, plus some amazing work by The National Science and Media Museum on the Friday. Saturday will be free music all day on the stage and bandstand with community events and displays.

"On Sunday it will be free music on the bandstand all day with more community entertainment throughout the day plus a ticketed concert on the meadow. Plus children's rides, face painting and competitions etc."

Small bags will be permitted into the festival. However, please note that they will be fully searched upon entry into the VIP fenced areas and anything found that is prohibited will not be allowed on site and may be confiscated. You may be refused entry if trying to bring prohibited items into the festival site. Confiscated items will be held by the management and can be collected once you leave the VIP area.

No. We will accept cash and cards, there are cash machines in Bingley Town Centre which is a five minute walk away.

Challenge Festival tickets will be on sale on the days of the events only if tickets remain.

Yes, All legal Dogs are allowed into all the park areas with exception to the VIP fenced area for safety reasons. Exceptions will be made for the use of assistance and guide dogs. The management reserve the right to asses visually and refuse entry to any dog they feel could be on the banned list.

Typical items you cannot bring onto site are food, drink, Trolleys and glass objects (except for vapes and perfume/aftershave, in bottles not greater than 100ml), Non pharmaceutical prescribed drugs, balloons and compressed gas.

There are hotels within walking distance of the festival site and several nearby which are either on bus routes or close enough to travel to the site by taxi. If you require any further info, please fill out a contact form on our contact us page and we will be more than happy to help.

All tickets and ad-ons purchased from the Challenge Festival website, and/or any of our accredited ticket partners, cannot be exchanged or refunded once purchased unless the event is cancelled.

Tickets are purchased for the events of Challenge Festival for entry specifically to the VIP area to see the outdoor cinema on the 24th of May 2024 and the Poptastic Music concert on Sunday the 26th May 2024 and not for a specific artist, band, performer or act. Schedules and line-ups are subject to cancellation or change.

If the event is postponed the management will honour the ticket for the re-scheduled performance and it is the responsibility of the ticket holder to make arrangements for the re-scheduled time/date.

Tickets are not transferable and may not be offered for sale without the prior written permission of the organisers. Any tickets that are transferred are transferred subject to these conditions of entry. Any tickets offered for sale may be confiscated by authorised personnel.

Any objects or clothing bearing political statements or commercial identification intended for ambush marketing, large flags, banners, rattles, fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, air horns, umbrellas, smoke canisters, laser pointers, bottles (except for small bottles of perfume/aftershave not to exceed 100ml), any type of glass (except for vapes), cans, cooking devices, umbrellas, , poles, knives, blades and other articles or containers – including any which could or might be used as a weapon – or any other item which in the reasonable opinion of the Organisers or Authorised Personnel could be used as a weapon or cause nuisance to others.
