My friend and I purchased tickets specifically to attend this event and see Dreaminâ of Nashville perform. This was the sole reason we attended your venue.

We arrived early to enjoy a drink before the event began, only to find the room full of football supporters watching a match. We were then left standing around for well over an hour while the game continued and eventually went to penalties. We had attended a country music event dressed for the occasion, yet instead found ourselves waiting for a football match to finish before the event we had paid for could even begin.

During this time, despite having paid for a bottomless package, we were unable to receive the advertised drinks service and had to purchase our own drinks.

Once the football finally ended, we were eventually shown to our table and given c**ktails which were of a very poor standard. I was then told I needed to finish my c**ktail before I could receive a glass of Prosecco, despite having paid for a bottomless package.

However, the most unacceptable part of the evening was that NO FOOD WAS PROVIDED.

The event was advertised as including food as part of the package. At no point during the evening were we served any food, offered any food, asked to place a food order, or given any explanation as to why food was not being provided.

To be absolutely clear, we paid Â£50 per person for an event that included food and received nothing. Not a single item of food was provided throughout the evening.

This is not a case of slow service or a delayed meal. A key part of the package we paid for was simply never provided at all.

To make matters worse, we were not even informed by Ballin that Dreaminâ of Nashville had cancelled. We only discovered this ourselves via the bandâs Instagram page. At no point did a member of staff inform us that the band would not be performing, despite customers having specifically purchased tickets for that event.

It is completely unacceptable that paying customers were left sitting in the venue, expecting the headline act to perform, only to discover via social media that the performance had been cancelled.

In summary:

â¢ The event was significantly delayed due to football being shown in the event space.

â¢ We were unable to access the advertised bottomless drinks package upon arrival.

â¢ We had to purchase our own drinks whilst waiting.

â¢ The drinks service we eventually received was poor.

â¢ No food whatsoever was provided despite being included in the package.

â¢ The headline act did not perform.

â¢ Ballin failed to communicate this cancellation, leaving customers to find out via the bandâs Instagram page.

The advertised event did not happen! The venue owe us refunds. Absolute joke evening!
Do not book an event at Ballin, Maidstone.

the event was not as described as was highly disappointed that this event didnt go ahead 

Left early. Was an awful venue! Leaks and damp everywhere. No lighting on the stairs leading up to the bar, dangerous! Bar staff were miserable and rude! Not enough drink options for the price paid. DJs were amazing but overall the night was rubbish

No one wants to listen to 50's 60's and even 70s music. 80's maybe ? Just a little! 90's and 2000's are the real deal. 

The DJ was playing music from 50s and 60s and the few people who turned up left . But as a loyal fan ballin. I stayed back and danced lone and the DJ switched to 90s music for me . I had fun.

The event isn't what is advertised at all, for food we only got 3 small pizzas to share between 7 people, no starter or pudding like it says. The list of drinks on the website also isn't offered, we were offered bottled beer or 2 c**ktails which tasted non alcoholic. The venue was dirty and the toilets were disgusting. 

Overpriced for what was supplied, left after an hour due to poor atmosphere,  music wasn't terrible.
