We Out Here festival information & FAQs
Ticket Information
We Out Here is a family friendly festival and welcomes all ages. however, the festival enforces that all under 18s tickets are obtained along with an adult ticket and request that all under 18s are accompanied by the adult their ticket was bought with at the main festival gates on arrival.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
Accommodation
Standard Camping & Family Camping:
All festival tickets allow access free of charge to the standard camping and family camping.
Boutique Camping, Camper Vans etc are also available.
Offsite
Festival ticket holders are welcome to organise off site accommodation for themselves and access the Festival site on a daily basis.
Food and Drink
Onsite Food and Drink Provision:
Responsibly Sourced. Fair Trade. Independent. Veg Heavy.
A Wide variety of international cuisine and fine food & drink offerings to suit all budgets.
Personal Food and Drink Allowance
The personal allowance is allowed of 12 cans of beer/lager/cider OR 2 bottles of wine per person. No spirits are allowed.
Sealed drinks, like bottles of water, are allowed but will be checked on entry to the site. There is no set limit on soft drinks. For safety reasons you are not allowed to bring glass bottles into either the camping or festival site.
There is no limit regarding bringing food in to the campsite.
Disabled Access Information
The festival will be offering accessible parking and camping options as well as free carer tickets for those with accessibility requirements.
Please email info@weoutherefestival.com. to let them know how they can help make your festival as enjoyable as possible and to apply for carer tickets, accessible camping and parking.
Travelling to/from the festival
Travel
We Out Here is held in Abbots Ripton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 2PH
Held on the old Secret Garden Party site, just 70 miles North of central London in the East Anglia countryside near Huntingdon.
By Coach
Return coach travel via Tuned In Travel is currently available from London, Bristol, Nottingham, Norwich & Manchester.

By Train
The nearest train station to site is Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Huntingdon takes 45 mins on the train from London Kings Cross/St Pancras, and it costs around £30 normal return, £40 anytime return. Trains leave around every half hour.
There are going to be shuttle buses running regularly from Huntingdon station to the site.
Shuttle Bus
There will be regular shuttle buses running from the train station to the site, running between midday - 10pm on Thursday & Friday. And between 9am – 1pm on Monday.
Driving
If you are at all capable of travelling by train or via one of the coaches that are running please consider doing this rather than driving.
If you are driving to the festival PLEASE try to go with a full car!
Driving to Abbots Ripton from London is approx 90 mins. Manchester 3hrs, Leeds 2hr 15.
Directions:
From the A1/A14 Junction (aka Brampton Hut)
Take the A14 towards Huntingdon Industrial Estate (ignore signs to Huntingdon)
At next roundabout go straight over (signposted A141 March & Ely)
Continue straight over the next three roundabouts.
The last roundabout will have a huge Tescos on it.
Shortly after, there will be a turning left (signposted Kings Ripton.)
Take this turning and follow the road down to the next crossroads.
Turn left towards Abbots Ripton (B1090)
The Festival is about a mile on your right – very hard to miss…
Onsite Parking
All customers driving to site are requested to purchase a car parking pass per car in advance of travelling. Please ensure you have selected the appropriate parking area for the campsite you intend to stay in.
Local Taxis
Taxis from the station should cost around £12, which you can share with any fellow attendees you meet on the train.

The history of We Out Here festival
Come and join the festival for a Worldwide Family Gathering in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside this August at the inaugural year of We Out Here.
Joining The Musical Dots between soul, hip hop, house, afro, electronica, jazz and beyond, we will be showcasing both outstanding live music and some of the best record collections in the world.
The festival will take place over 4 days and nights and will offer a variety of boutique and luxury camping as well as quiet and family camping areas.
This is a worldwide family gathering, open to all ages and all walks of life.
