U Know Festival

U Know Festival is back on the Moors to party and celebrate music, arts and culture over 4 stages!

"If you’ve been before then U know what to expect, if not then let me tell U!! We build our stages from scratch, not just a stretch tent with a rig in, but actually fully made structures all from recycled materials or sustainably sourced timber from local mills or woodlands! We strive to go that little step further with what we do, the last festival saw a huge Ark built from recycled pallet wood which hosted the bands stage, also a trench town for the reggae stage, which stood out like a huge fortress on the Moors, looking spectacular all lit up at night time!

Our music selection is hand picked from some of the finest Djs and bands from north wales and further afield, offering young and up and coming artists the opportunity to perform and a friendly and welcoming platform to do so. Over the last 3 years we have always had Reggae as our main sound on the festival site, but also welcoming all types of world music, funk, soul, swing, DnB, Jungle, breakbeats, and in 2020 there will be techno and house!! Also a huge variety of bands have been hosted from gypsy ska to psychedelic funk, and everything in between.

Amongst all the music are other forms of entertainment from live art displays, circus skills, acrobatics, fire performers and workshops for the kids and adults!
This year we will also have eco hot showers and sauna on site to help un wind over the weekend and a healing area with massages and therapies to heal your soul.

We truly strive to have something for everyone and of all ages, a place to unwind, escape judgements and be free and colourful as you like! We also encourage fancy dress and have a theme every year which we will announce soon!
