Transition Festival

We do recommend preparing your travel so you can relax and enjoy from the beginning to the end. You can book your flight by choosing between 3 different airports: Sevilla (SVQ, 78 km), Faro (FAO, 158 km) Jerez (XRY, 156 km). The economic airlines are Ryanair, Iberia, Vueling, Clickair, Hapag Lloyd Express, Helvetic Airways, Luxair, Flyglobespan, Easyjet, Tuifly, Transavia, Tap Portugal, Germanwings... Book your flight as soon as possible. 

 

There are two ways to arrive at the Transition Festival:

Private Transport: If you come by your own car, once in Almonte, go to 4 Caminos and Cabezudos Road. Drive along 4 km and you will find a small roundabout. Take the first right and the festival will appear in 1000 metres. We do recommend using public transport during the festival. If you come by caravan, you can park in the Camping area with no issues, the sooner you arrive, the better spot you can choose ;) 

Organic Showers:

To keep our bodies fresh, this service opens every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Due to the proximity to the National Park, one of the main difficulties is carrying the water necessary for this service for a week from Almonte to the festival. Much of the budget is allocated to this task; Therefore, we ask that you be aware of the amount of water you use. We advise you to use organic soap that you can find in the mini market at reasonable prices.

 

WC:

Both outside the venue and inside it, you can find cabins for your needs. Portaloos use a small amount of water and follow health and safety regulations RD 1627/1997 and RD 2816/1982. They will receive daily cleaning, it is possible that due to misuse they will not function properly. If you notice any anomaly, please quickly inform someone in the organization.

 

Water Points:

There is an official water point located right next to the shower module. The water is 100% drinkable, if you need water to take it to your store, it is advisable to buy jugs of water at the mini market located at the entrance and refill it at the water point.

 

First Aid:

Treat others as you would like to be treated. You are part of the international family, so act accordingly. If you have or see any accident, go to the Red Cross tent located at the entrance to the facility or notify the security team. Remember that Transition Crew puts all the means at your disposal so that you have a pleasant experience, however, we are in the middle of the forest surrounded by wild animals. You may have allergic reactions to the worm dust that comes down from the pine trees this time of year, causing an itch similar to a mosquito bite. It is very important that you do not scratch your skin, think about something else and teach the mind not to focus on the unconscious response; It is an opportunity that nature gives you to make your transition... after a short time it will stop itching... It is possible that there are people who are not allergic to anything... and other people who are allergic to everything.

This is the place where the ancient ritual of the trance dance experience is defined. The aim of the Transition experience is a group of elements that make you feel the music not only through the ear but the whole body. The musical program offers a complete guide with pauses, peaks, and relaxed moments. Transition Festival is a party which pretends to go beyond music, being the perfect place to explore and connect with yourself. Enjoy a peaceful experience, a disconnection with all you have been and open the doors of what you can be.

Transition Festival offers you the possibility to park and camp in a magical place. We recommend you to arrive on Tuesday 30th April 2024. The Camping Area is open from 10:00 am, to give you time to land properly and meet your neighbours before everything starts on the next day. REMEMBER you can get into the camping area with all the camping gear you want, only commercial activities and open fires is not allowed.

Once you arrive at the festival gates, you will get to the first security control BEFORE the camping area. Transition Crew will welcome you at the gates with your wristband and your program. The Minimarket will be opened from Tuesday morning. You can stay in the location until Tuesday 7th May 6:00 pm (maximum). If you want to travel lighter, there is a camping gear rental service in the Tickets section. Feel free to book your tent and sleeping bag so you don't need to carry the gear along all the way.
