San Francisco native Nick Miller, better known as ILLENIUM is one of Denver’s most talked about EDM artists. ILLENIUM began making electronic dance music in early 2008 and quickly became known for his production quality and content. ILLENIUM’s latest EP titled, RISEN exemplifies just that. Miller teamed up with the internationally acclaimed Sirma for one of the songs on this EP, after hearing DropTalk’s remix of Wanderer and together they created the melodically beautiful track, Drop Our Hearts. This song was the first single from RISEN, premiering on Tuesday December 10th. Drop Our Hearts immediately rose to the #1 position on Dubstep.net.
ILLENIUM got his start on the scene when he released his 2013 debut self-titled EP with LA based record label, Prep School Recordings. Adding his own blend of intricate melodies and powerful rhythms into electronic dance music fuels his sound and makes him one of the most innovative acts within the EDM world.
Currently after countless hours in the studio ILLENIUM presents the RISEN EP to kick off 2014. RISEN consists of four original tracks ranging from emotional and heavy dubstep to intricate and melodic glitch hop. Released and available for free download on January 14th, 2014 the RISEN EP is an example of EDM taken to the next level overstepping the boundaries of typical electronic dance music. ILLENIUM went on to win Sub.Mission Dubstep’s DJ Battle at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom.
