Skiddle: The UK's biggest guide to festivals

There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.

The last few years have been prolific with Dan's productions gaining regular support from the likes of Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten Aly & Fila + many more. In 2017 Dan made his debut at the UK’s biggest dance festival, Creamfields and returned for a second year in 2018.

Dan has released music on A State of Trance, Flashover, VANDIT, Outburst, Pure Trance Progressive & more. Now Dan sets out on a new venture, reforming in the name of ‘Daxson’ and calling Markus Schulz’s Coldharbour Recordings home.

Daxson’s work in the studio hasn’t gone unnoticed, he was one of the breakdown stars on Coldharbour Recordings in 2017. Label boss Markus Schulz picked up ‘Skygarden’ and debuted it a the massive 2016 edition of Transmission at the o2 Arena in Prague, and continued to open his shows with it for the best part of 9 months. Armin van Buuren also took a liking to ‘Persona’ playing it in front of The Pyramids of Giza at FSOE500 Egypt and has included it in his live sets for over 6 months. Off the back of this Daxson was also given the opportunity to remix ‘A Better You’ by Markus Schulz which was released on Blackhole Recordings and featured on ‘Watch The World’ Deluxe Album.

Dan continued the success in 2018 releasing ’Blackcard’ on Coldharbour Recordings, arguably Dan’s best production to date. Plus a series of popular remixes, including an update of the massive 2004 classic ‘Cosmic String’ by Marcos. This became a live set favourite in Markus Schulz’ world tour as well as gaining support from Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Solarstone & many more. Dan also remixed Markus Schulz for the second time, which came in the form of ‘Searching’ taken from The Nine Skies Dakota Album. Other remixes included Marcel Wood’s Lemon Tree on High Contrast Recordings as well as Rapid Eye’s Stealing Beauty on A State Of Trance.

Now under the Schulz Music Group umbrella and with more new music on the way Daxson’s profile is only set to grow.
