Bar staff will ask for proof of age whenever a customer appears to be under 23 – so if you think there is a chance you may be asked, best bring some photo ID and get it ready to show as you go to buy your drink. It is down to you to prove that you are over 18 and you will need to do this before you are able to buy alcohol. If you’re older than 23 and you get asked, please just take the check as a compliment on your youthful looks. We understand that if you’re older than 30 and you get asked for ID, it might well be a highlight of the weekend.

Here are forms of ID that we accept:

Passport

FOOD

There are plenty of fantastic local outlets on site selling food and drink, ranging from burritos, burgers, pizza, doughnuts, coffee bars to noodles, fish and chips and curry – all tastes and foodies are catered for with food from around the globe.

GoldCoast Oceanfest is an open-air non-seated event. You’re completely welcome to sit or lie out on the grass of course.

All public and working enclosed spaces onsite are no smoking, including all tents and marquees onsite. This includes electric cigarettes. If you do smoke, please use the butt bins to dispose of your cigarette ends.

Toilets are at the east end of the arena, with disabled toilets available next to the first aid point. Every single one is cleaned and serviced from top to bottom (no pun intended) frequently throughout the weekend. There is hand sanitizer at all toilet blocks.
