After another sell out year, Common People will return to the stunning greenery of Oxford’s South Park for a bonkers bank holiday bonanza on 26th and 27th May, 2018.
The two-day music and arts festival has seen the likes of Duran Duran, Primal Scream, Craig David’s TS5, Katy B, Public Enemy, Soul II Soul, Gaz Coombs, Jamie Lawson and many more take the helm of the Common Stage along with a plethora of local acts gracing the Uncommon Stage, all topped off with a lavish helping of the Bestival team’s renowned magic, mayhem and merriment. Uniting party lovers across the heart of England and beyond.
Rob da Bank says “Wow Oxford, you were incredible. The sunshine, the crowd, the stunning city back drop, the music, the food –Wow! Thanks for making [the festival] in your beautiful city one of the best weekends so far this year. Can’t wait to be back”

You should receive a response within roughly 5 working days. This may be longer when nearer the time of the festival, so please do try to be as patient as possible.
Common People is an outdoor event utilising a park field, and this can pose some mobility problems, particularly in bad weather conditions. If it rains it may get muddy and access around the site (other than on paths) may be very difficult. Electric wheelchairs can tackle most areas without too much trouble but the ground can be uneven in places and is predominantly on grass.
There are some pathways which run through the festival entrance down the centre of the festival, but areas by the stages are on grass.
Common People do not offer any internal transport due to the limitations of moving around the site.
There are 3 major stages and performance areas. The mainstage is 400 metres from the entrance, the Uncontained Stage is 137 metres from the entrance, and the Uncommon Stage is 367 metres from the entrance.
The festival site is on a general downwards incline with the entrance being at a high point, and the mainstage being at the lowest point.
There will be a limited amount of parking for customers with a blue badge. This information will be available nearer the time of the event. Please note that you can only park here if you are a Blue Badge holder.
