BY RAIL:
Lulworth benefits from an excellent rail network linking the midlands, North, Scotland and London Waterloo with Wareham or Wool railway station. With some planning and advance purchase of tickets, it’s possible to make a journey by rail to Wareham or Wool from much of the country making it even more of a holiday experience. Check South West Trains special GroupSave discount (or call 0845 6000 650) where you can save up to 50% when 3 or 4 people travel together off-peak - you can also add up to 4 children for just £1 each!
Local taxis will be available from Wareham and Wool Station to take you to the site, and also available from the site when you need to leave.
BY CAR:
To find your best route to Camp Bestival using an online journey planner or your SatNav please enter postcode BH20 5QS. Once you arrive near the site please follow the directions below and as soon as you see Camp Bestival event signage please turn off your SatNav off and follow these signs:
From the East (via/near Bournemouth) - take the A35 towards Dorchester, turning left onto the A351 towards Wareham and then right onto the A352 signposted to Wool. Then follow event signage.
From the West (via/near Dorchester) - From the A35 Dorchester bypass take the A352 signposted for Wool and Wareham. Then follow event signage.
On approach to the event please follow the relevant signage which relates to your ticket type:
General Camping tickets: Follow signs for Camping Car Parks, then enter site via YELLOW GATE
Boutique Campers/Tangerine Fields Campers: Follow signs for Boutique Camping, enter site via YELLOW GATE
Campervans/Caravans/Trailer Tents: Follow signs for Camping Car Parks, then enter site via YELLOW GATE
Camping Plus: Follow signs for Camping Car Parks, then on approach to camping car parks enter site via GREEN GATE
Disability Access Camping: follow signs for Camping car parks, then on approach to site enter via WHITE GATE
NB - Please do not follow your SatNav once you are on the A352 as there will be some road closures in place and please watch your speed as it is a rural location and likely to have heavier traffic than usual.
Leaving Camp Bestival - Dorset
If you are driving home, bear in mind that it is holiday time down in Dorset so there may be traffic unrelated to the event. The A31 will be busy 8am–11am and 5pm–9pm, so why not delay your departure by visiting one of the hundreds of attractions in Dorset.
Advance Weekend Car Parking: £15 from www.ticketline.co.uk/camp-bestival-tickets (with no postage/booking fees if you add onto your existing order by calling Ticketline)
Non-Advance Weekend Car Parking: £20 (Thurs/Fri arrival). Payable in cash on arrival.
Day Car Parking: £5. Payable in advance or cash on arrival.
NB: Weekend Ticket holders who are not camping should ensure they retain their ticket so it can be used for all 4 days.

If you are going to Camp Bestival by car, please fill it up with people. Even if you only have one space free in your car, please check out both options on Camp Bestival's Car Sharing page and get yourselves signed up. Likewise, of course, to anyone who is looking for a lift. What's more, these services are entirely free to use (you simply share the travel costs).
BY FERRY
White Motor Boats operate ferries between Weymouth and Lulworth Cove in the summer months. They land passengers on the beach in the Cove, and then it is a 5-minute taxi ride to the Castle. Arrive in style! Call 07749 732428 for more info.
