Welcome to Bonfest - Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Bon Scott.

 

Bonfest is an annual celebration honouring the legendary Bon Scott, the iconic frontman of AC/DC, in his Scottish hometown of Kirriemuir. What started as a small local gathering has grown into a full-blown international rock festival - and in 2026, it proudly celebrates 20 years of keeping Bon's spirit alive.

 

Each year, fans from around the world come together for three days of live rock music. From legendary headliners to rising rock acts, Bonfest is more than just a music festival - it's a tribute to Bon's legacy, his roots, and the enduring power of rock 'n' roll.

 

Run by volunteers and organised by the charity DD8 Music, Bonfest raises funds for DD8 Music to allow it to continue to work with the next generation of young musicians in the area and create opportunities for creativity and learning.
