Skiddle: The UK's biggest guide to festivals

There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.

Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!

Sara Cox loves music and plays sets that reflect her 20 years in this crazy biz we call show. From her 80s radio show, through brit pop to big beat and on to todays melting pot of pop, R&B, hip hop and dance, she’ll play it all. From Whitney to Kanye to Cameo, from the Killers to Kim Wilde, to Prince, Madness and the Prodigy – she’s always guaranteed to make people dance and even jump about a bit.

Born in glorious Bolton, the jewel of the North West, Sara Cox, daughter of beef farmers, left behind her career in Manchester as an international supermodel/barmaid to head to London in search of fame and fortune in the heady days of Brit Pop, 1995. She presented various tv shows, from Channel 4’s “The Girlie Show” to “MTV Hot”, Channel 5’s “Exclusive” and Channel 4 music programmes “Album Chart Show” and “Born Sloppy.”

Sara Cox presented BBC Radio One’s Breakfast show for 3 and a half years, taking the show to various festivals and to the Balearics for the notoriously hedonistic “Radio One’s Ibiza Weekend” and hosted numerous slots including drivetime and across the weekend. During these years Sara became a mum to 3 gorgeous children and is happily married to a very lovely and patient man called Ben.

In 2013 Sara made the move from BBC Radio One (school) to BBC Radio 2 (sixth form) where she presents her own Friday night show “Sounds of the 80s” – 2 hours of brilliant music from the 1980s, an eclectic, exciting decade of music that is often reflected in her DJ sets. Once a month there is a red button special, reaching millions of viewers with star interviews and a plethora of amazing 80’s pop videos to accompany the music. Sara is also the official Radio 2 Breakfast Show cover DJ for Chris Evans, regularly playing music to and attempting to entertain over 9.5 million listeners on Europe’s biggest breakfast show.

Sara Cox is also a regular co-host on Radio Four’s “Loose Ends” and presents BBC2’s “The Great Pottery Throwndown”, the second series of which will be on screen in spring 2017. Apart from her family and work, Sara loves horses and has raced at Goodwood for charity and was QIPCO ambassador for the 2016 Champions Series, DJing at Ascot on Champions day.

Sara hosts and performs her own 80s night Just Can’t Get Enough 80s
