Skiddle: The UK's biggest guide to festivals

There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.

Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!

Jack J Hutchinson is a London based guitarist and singer songwriter. Described by Classic Rock Magazine as “Southern-smoked blues-rock with hooks, choruses, the lot”, his most recent album ‘Paint No Fiction‘ reached #1 in the Amazon Blues Chart and the iTunes Blues Chart Top 5.

Born in Leicester, Hutchinson spent his formative years in the north west before moving to London to be an artist and musician. Before long the guitar became his main focus and he recorded an album with the Boom Boom Brotherhood entitled ‘Set Your Heart For The Sun‘, whilst also performing session work at Universal and Miloco Studios London.

High profile gigs soon followed, including playing BluesFest at the O2 before Bad Company and Ramblin’ Man Fair, where he shared the bill with ZZ Top, Rival Sons and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. He has also supported Monster Truck, Raveneye’s Oli Brown, Kris Barras, Dr Feelgood, and Big Boy Bloater.

Most recently he has undertaken his first international dates, including tours of Spain, France and Russia, in support of his new album ‘Paint No Fiction’.

What the press have been saying…

“Tough, immediate and rockin’. Hutchinson was born to sing soul and blues.” (Classic Rock Magazine)

“Growling vocals combine with raunch ‘n’ roll acoustic and electric guitars. It’s a heck of a debut and definitely a name to watch out for.” (Guitarist Magazine)

“Very very good indeed. Hutchinson is kicking up a storm!” (Paul Jones, BBC Radio 2)
