Coloursfest 25th Anniversary 2026

Colourfest takes place Saturday 15th August 2026.

Coloursfest is located in Braehead Arena which is around 7 miles from Glasgow city centre. It takes about 20 minutes from the city centre by bus or car. The postcode is G51 4BN.  

No, Coloursfest is a non camping festival so camping equipment is not needed. It is however close to Glasgow City Centre so there is plenty of alternative accommodation to choose from.

By Car - The venue is just off the M8, if you’re heading from Glasgow come off at Junction 25A and follow the signposts to the Arena. 

By Bus - There are several regular bus services operated by, McGills, First Glasgow, Stagecoach (West Scotland) and Colchri.

By Rail - There are regular train services from Paisley Gilmour Street, Glasgow Central/Queen Street (National Rail), Partick (National Rail and SPT Subway), Govan (SPT Subway). 

Yes you must be 18 or over to attend Coloursfest. You may be asked to show photo ID.

You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink into Coloursfest. There will be a wide variety of food and drink stalls inside the festival, serving up organic, vegetarian and vegan options. 

Tickets start from £45 + booking fee. 

 Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent.

Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

By Bus

Braehead has its own dedicated bus station and travel information centre. In fact over 820 buses pass through here every day. There are direct services from many locations including Glasgow city centre, Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine and Glasgow Airport.

By Coach

If you are coming by coach, then we also have our own dedicated coach park next to the bus station. Please contact the arena if you are arriving with a coach party as some events have specific coach drop off points.

By Car

Braehead Arena can easily be reached by road from the whole of central Scotland and beyond.

The venue has over 6500 dedicated FREE parking spaces. We are based at junction 26 (eastbound) and junction 25a (westbound) of Glasgow's M8 motorway.

By Train

Our nearest railway station is Paisley Gilmour Street. From there, you can catch one of the many regular buses to Braehead. If you are traveling through Glasgow city centre, then it is best to catch a bus from the city centre.

The closest underground stop to Braehead is Govan, from where there are frequent buses. The journey time is around 12 minutes.

By Air

Braehead Arena is conveniently situated just four miles from Glasgow International Airport. For more information on flights to Glasgow visit the Glasgow Airport website at www.glasgowairport.com.

The First Bus 747 service offers a direct link from Glasgow Airport to Braehead and Xscape. It runs every 30 minutes for most of the day and the journey time to Braehead is around 15 minutes. For timetable details, please use our Braehead journey planner.
