guildford.games Festival 2027

Big games. Small town. One incredible games community.

Did you know that some of the world's most iconic video games were made in Guildford?

From Fable, Dungeon Keeper and LittleBigPlanet to No Man's Sky, Until Dawn and Two Point Museum, this Surrey town has been punching well above its weight in the games industry for decades.

On Friday 19 February 2027, the guildford.games Festival returns to G Live for another celebration of the games, studios and extraordinary people who make them.

Following a fantastic 2026 event that welcomed over 4,000 attendees, we're bringing together gamers, developers, students, industry veterans and curious newcomers for a day dedicated to everything we love about video games.

What can you expect?

• Play the games: Get hands-on with games from established studios and independent developers.
• Meet the devs: Discover the people and stories behind your favourite games.
• Hear from the experts: Enjoy talks, panels and conversations exploring game development, creativity and the industry.
• Get career advice:Aspiring developers can take advantage of portfolio reviews with experienced industry professionals, offering invaluable feedback and insight into working in games.
• Discover something new: Meet emerging talent, explore career opportunities and find your next favourite game.
• Celebrate the community: Connect with fellow gamers and the people making games right on our doorstep.

Whether you're an aspiring developer, a lifelong gamer, a student considering a career in games or simply someone who loves playing games, there's something for you.

And because we're passionate about supporting the next generation of games talent, the festival is completely free to attend for students!

Organised by the community, for the community.

Join us in celebrating the incredible impact Guildford continues to have on the world of video games.
