Dahlia Soundclash: Jonjo Williams, Jonny Cade, Stepback

Jonjo Williams is a DJ, musician and selector passionate about vinyl, deeper cuts and extended 12-inch long plays. A frequent presence across Manchester’s venues, Jonjo’s sets are rooted in leftfield dance music, soul, disco, Balearic records, house and curveballs.

Also known under his DJ alias ALPS 2, Jonjo brings together the instincts of a musician and the taste of a digger, favouring records with atmosphere and texture.

Alongside DJing, Jonjo performs internationally with Maribou State, bringing his experience as a live musician into the way he approaches the dancefloor. He has also played a key role in Manchester’s hospitality and nightlife culture, having booked and shaped entertainment programmes for Ramona, Firehouse and Tangerine.
