Review of Run Away Festival - Bank Hol Sat 23 & Sun 24 May - Essex

Sound system awful, vip wasn't worth it, the venue wasn't prepared for the heat wave

Problems with speakers, no free WiFi (working), very young crowd and high pricing. Buses only running from 8pm. Too many issues. No champagne tent as advertised. Very amateur set up. I left very early.

Sound system wasn't great, was many people that required medical care but the music and DJs that played was amazing. Prices of drinks was ridiculous, water for £4.50! considering the hot weather i believe this is why many were ill due to not being hydrated enough!

Amazing day, with loads of like minded people, Defected knocked it out of the block.  If the line up is similar next year will definitely be returning.

One negative comment no phone signals around the race course so no one could contact anyone which was very difficult in a large group and also crowed area would this be som**hing you look to improve for next year or provide a WIFI so that everyone does not get lost and lose time looking for friends while they could be enjoying the day?  A free WIFI would be a great suggestion for 2027 fantastic event just that as a negative which was really hard to communicate with people who wanted different music choices or areas

Good little day out, would go again. Only feedback - more bloody toilets, maybe qudraple the amount of speaks for main stage, sound was not great, it almost sounded better at the back?! and please, on an extremely sunny day, provide more shaded respite areas.
