Zen Elephant are emerging as one of the Southwest’s freshest and most original bands. They create an acoustic-based groove accompanied by passionate vocals, and rhythms which ecompass elements of traditional folk, reggae and roots music. The lyrics aim to bring to light the beauty and ugliness of the human condition, whilst promoting positivity and progression for a better world. The summer of 2010 saw the quartet burst onto the UK festival circuit, with appearances at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Green Man, Sunrise, and many more.
