Transglobal troubadour Liam Rickard, aka the Worldwide Welshman, hails from Betws-y-Coed in North Wales and performs a multilingual mix of quirky, upbeat originals and popular folk songs from around the world. He fronts the world-folk-rock band Worldwide Welshman & Beyond, a collective of musicians from different countries and musical backgrounds. They aim to take audiences on an an exhilarating musical journey across genras and borders, mixing east & west, traditional & modern, rock, folk & jazz to create an exciting, international sound.

Liam has performed with a great vareity of different musicians from around the world, in many exciting locations, including: a rooftop in Havana; a christmas satsang in an ashram in India; the Christ statue in Cochababa, Bolivia; a hilltop Roma mahala in Rila, Bulgaria; a boat on the river in Ghent; Tandem Festival in Oxford; and the Edinburgh Fringe, to name but a few. He regularly entertains audiences at music venues, cafes, bars, street corners, private parties and community spaces across London.
