Biography

Grant, Calvin, Russell & Harvey make up the innovative indie rock band Weekend Debt from Glasgow, Scotland.

Growing up around music and progressing Glasgow artists, Weekend Debt have grown their own fan base from scratch and made an impact on the local music scene.

Weekend Debt released their debut EP Boyfriend Averse in 2017 and their Single Paragon in the November which welcomed many critical acclaim with Spotify among the many and Amazing Radio in which Paragon reached number 2 in their January 2018 Charts and placed a respectable 44th in their 2018 Chart of the Year .

The boys take influence from The View and Fatherson and infuse some Arctic Monkeys yet add their own original twist on modern indie music. The band are quickly earning a reputation in the local music scene by adding their own unique vibe, creating an energetic live atmosphere that has led the band to sell out 13th Note, Clydesdale Inn and Broadcast among some as well as featuring at a number of gigs with This Feeling and supporting the likes of Kyle Falconer, Spring King and Calva Louise to name but a few.

Weekend Debt plan to release their 2nd E.P later in 2019 along with more live shows scheduled for all over Scotland and beyond.
