Biography

Wade Teo started out as a House DJ in the mid 90's. Then later co-hosting a weekly ‘House’ show on a commercial FM radio station whilst playing gigs every week. Venues and residences includ Cargo, Ministry of Sound, SW1, Hoxton Pony, Zigfrid Von Underbelly and also many international exclusive gigs in Ibiza, USA, Brazil, Italy, Sweden and Norway plus many more.

Late 90s Wade Teo was introduced into music production and is now a successful producer at the UK’s most prestigious studios where artists like Naughty Boy, Sam Smith, Emeli Sande, Jem Cook, Vanessa White and J Hus to name but a few, have all have worked or still work out of daily. Wade Teo has had a string of big releases for NYC house legend Victor Simonelli and continues to team up with other house music royalty such as Marc Avon Evans, Byron Stingley achieving a several-month run at number 1 on the traxsource charts.

Now Wade Teo is currently a producer, DJ and A&R at Tropical Velvet Records, with a string of hit signings pushed to the label. In 2020 Wade Teo became co-label partner alongside Ian 'Snowy' Snowball of "Club Chi'll Records" with the debut tracks but house music legend Marshall Jefferson and Jungle Wonz hitting vinyl and getting on all the biggest playlists of 2020. Since then Wade and Ian have teamed up with Junior Boys Own and Faith Fanzine's Terry Farley to form the group "The Spaces Between". The first production with Chicago, Jungle Wonz lyricist Harry Dennis titled "Ghosts" was quickly snapped up by Jo Wallace and Ashley Beedle's label F*CLR. Amazing remixes by the notorious "The Black Science Orchestra". The track has been a huge success so far, achieving plays on BBC Radio shows, DJ support from Masters At Work (Louie Vega) SoulClap and Chosen Few Djs " Wayne Williams". Future projects include collaborations with Jon Carter, Rowetta, Marshall Jefferson and Byron Stingly.
