Voltergeist is producer Shaun Dowse, who uses a MacBook Pro with an array of synthesizers and strange electronic gadgets, live bass guitar and hand percussion (and occasionally saucepans) to produce his original blend of twisted dub-techno music and remixes for established artists. Dark and minimal soundscapes give way to blistering wacky techno stompers, traveling between club sensibility and the imaginary sounds of life on a fantasy tropical island.
