Violet Chachki is known for creating sophisticated performances and entrancing visuals that blend strip tease, aerial acrobatics and fetish aesthetics – while also distorting the gender binary. Their charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent won them the crown – and the $100,000 cash prize – on Season 7 of mega-hit TV series, “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Since that victory, they have performed in large venues in over 20 countries on 6 continents. Headlining a number of burlesque festivals and international drag shows, Violet has even gotten to tour with long time inspiration Dita Von Teese! They have appeared on countless magazine covers and in a number of high profile editorials with the likes of Italian Vogue, Interview, Nylon, and Candy.

Violet credits much of their inspiration to the likes of Bettie Page, legendary model Dovima, Thierry Mugler and renowned DJ Lady Miss Kier. The inspiration behind the name violet came from collecting bric-a-brac such as vintage Avon bottles, poodle statues and clown paraphernalia. Violet is a unique and eclectic combination of the people and things that they love most.
