VALHALLA is a House & Techno DJ/Producer from Fife, Scotland. His passion for music led him to learn the art of DJing at the young age of 11. A year later, he began teaching himself how to produce electronic music.
In 2020, VALHALLA started his own record label, Groove Shack Records (www.grooveshackrecords.com). Since its inception, the label has signed talented artists such as MarAxe, DKult, Andy BSK, and Rory Hoy. In 2024, the label had its first radio airplay on BBC Music Introducing & BBC6 Music with Craig Charles with Rory Hoy’s Funky House track “Weekend Waiting”.
VALHALLA's album DNA topped the Norwegian iTunes charts, coming in at #1 in Techno Albums & #29 in Techno Albums in the UK. The album's House single, House of Tribe, was also featured on Spotify's own editorial playlists, Friday Crate Diggers and Dance Rising.
VALHALLA frequently appears in the Beatport Top 100 charts, with numerous tracks making the list. His latest track, "Acid Storm," achieved notable success by reaching #9 on the Techno (Raw/Deep/Hypnotic) chart in December 2024.
His music has gained support from DJ Rush, Judge Jules, Mauro Picotto, Paul Oakenfold, Sam Paganini, Joseph Capriati, The Southern, Alex Di Stefano, Marco Carola, Argy (UK), Sonique, Celic, Stonebridge, DJ BL3ND and many more.
In 2022, VALHALLA remixed "Get A Little Deeper" by 90s rave legends The Rhythmic State. The remix came in at #4 in the iTunes Techno Chart - UK and #22 in the iTunes Techno Chart - Germany.
VALHALLA also hosts his own radio show, The Residency with VALHALLA, on Scotland's popular dance music station Beat 106 Scotland, aired via the website, app, and on DAB radio in Glasgow.
