Biography

The Revival Hour is a collaborative project between DM Stith and John Mark Lapham of The Earlies and The Late Cord.

"This summer my friend and music collaborator JM Lapham came to Rochester to live with me so that we could finish our music project together. It started a few years ago as a very casual one-off collaboration and turned into something that sort of took over my creative life. Its been the best sort of parasite. It's like a child coming out of a one-night stand. Certainly, there was resentment when I began to realize what was happening -- that I was gaining all sorts of responsibilities and that I was going to have to learn to be a little less selfish and a little more deliberate, that I was going to have to grow up a little. But the ugly little beast has grown into something I'm really quite proud of. It's got a life of its own -- it's got heart." ~ DM Stith
