Biography

From straight-up electro bangers to tasty bassline house, disco-tinged distorted dance-music to future-techno-garage-uk-bass-hybrid gems, there ain’t no party like a Filth Wizard party, yeah? With a disregard for genre and “what’s hot right now”, The Filth Wizard’s aim is dead simple... a dancefloor filled with sweaty ravers. Having played with Crookers & Sinden at Sankeys, at Glastonbury Festival with Autokratz and The Whip, and alongside a huge list of awesome DJ talent at every Beats of Rage (Boy 8-Bit, Jack Beats, Toddla T, etc etc), he knows how to achieve that aim.

The Filth Wizard has played alongside:

Crookers, Boy 8-Bit, Jack Beats, The Count & Sinden, AC Slater, AutoKratz, Baobinga, Caspa, Chase & Status, David E Sugar, DJ Yoda, Drums of Death, Egyptrixx, Evil Nine, Foamo, Felix Cartal, Ghosts of Venice, Hostage, HiJack, James Lavelle, Jamie Jones, Jaymo & Andy George, Jayou, Jokers of The Scene, Kanji Kinetic, Katy B, Malente, Miami Horror, Mr Flash, Murkage, Reset!, Rico Tubbs, RunHideSurvive, Rusko, The Ghost Frequency, The Real Heat, The Whip, Toddla T, Tomb Crew, Tom Staar, Urchins, Youth Attack, Zombie Disco Squad, Atomic Kitten(!) and more more more.

Having played at Beats of Rage in Preston every month since it kicked off in 2007, plus whole bunch of other big Preston parties (including Drop, For No Reason & more), The Filth Wizard is used to rocking it in front of his home crowd... but that doesn't mean he's afraid to venture further afield. The Filth Wizard has also played out at Sankeys in Manchester; at Glastonbury Festival; Contort Yourself & Murkage in Manchester; Wickerman, Dolphinstock, CityLove & Muzikizm festivals; and various other shindigs in places like Leeds, Lancaster & Blackpool.

"Dance music without the pretension. Get sweaty, get sexy, get grimy, get filthy. Wonky basslines, chunky house, electro filth, a slice of techno. Well, let's face it, anything goes."
