Biography

With an infectious sound full of riotous genre-bending melodic virtuosity, MegaFolk grooves and songs, The Destroyers have built up a huge following both nationwide and beyond. A unique stage show that combines huge madcap energy, stage theatrics and immense musical craftmanship and ingenuity, it's no surprise that they win over audiences wherever they perform.

From their hometown of Birmingham to nationwide festivals such as Glastonbury, Cambridge and Boomtown, onto international successes like Spraoi, Pennabilli, and Bern Festival of Street music, the band have continued to live up to the legend of their live shows.

Offstage, they have succeeded in distilling and bottling that essence and have released two critically acclaimed albums along with their recent EPs "The Vortex EP" and "Licence to Sing".
