THE COLLABORATIVE ORCHESTRA is a diverse, ambitious amateur orchestra rehearsing, performing and recording in and around London, UK. It is made up of instrumentalists — and, more recently, singers! — from all walks of life who live in and around London. Although many are music teachers, many have “normal” daytime jobs, and some are students.
Since our televised audition for ITV’s “Britain’s Got Talent” on April 9, 2016, however, millions around the country (and outside the UK) have gotten to know us by our rendition of Queen’s iconic song “Don’t Stop Me Now” — a performance that has so far gotten us through to the show’s semifinal round! The “Got Talent” formula is the most popular reality TV format in the world (according to the Guinness Book of World Records) and has been commissioned in 58 territories worldwide. And we are the only orchestra to ever make it to the semifinals of Britain’s Got Talent in its 10 years of existence!
