The Brakes are a 5 piece band from Manchester, formed in late 2010. Drawing influence from a wide range of music from Indie to Blues to Rock and everything in between, The Brakes deliver a refreshing blend of catchy riffs and sing-along choruses which are instantly recognisable. Despite only being together for a few months and being unsigned, The Brakes played a live session on Allfm manchester and gigs at The Roadhouse Manchester and The Academy and are currently booking across the UK.
