Formed after hours in the bars of the serendipitous City of Brighton, UK, The Black Fields found common ground over a vintage record collection, love for rock ’n’ roll and a passion for non conformity. While many bands are busy following the current trends of the day, The Black Fields have been solely interested in demonstrating rock ’n’ roll in its truest and most classically remembered form. Hawaiian shirts, Ray Bans and a roaring prominent rock guitar sound backed with a punchy backline and intricate percussion detail come exploding from the stage, fronted by a serious clown like lead singer and enigmatic Spanish rock guitarist.

Proudly influenced by the rock greats, historical poets, American film and pop culture, Latin, Blues, Country, anything you can raise a whiskey to... it’s all covered. As if Quentin Tarantino himself had curated a band as Andy Warhol did The Velvet Underground. The song itself is the engine that drives this charismatic group of musicians who all contribute to the writing, make their own videos, fund and plan their own recordings, thrive in performing to a raucous crowd and intimately and carefully piece together majestic and profound recorded works.
