Biography

Thaddeus started DJing the mid 90’s, having cut his teeth in the after-hours clubs on Manchester’s vibrant gay club scene. A five year long residency at the legendary Paradise Factory quickly followed and he garnered a reputation for uplifting vocal House sets.

1997 saw the start of a long string of House retrospective Sunday night parties in Manchester lasting well over a decade. Fast forward to 2009 when he established Retox Recordings (www.retoxrecordings.com), which is now celebrating it’s 24th release. A year later he was approached by the UK’s only full time FM gay radio station ‘Gaydio’ to host a Sunday night House anthems show, where he interviewed House Music legends including Inaya Day, Lisa Millett and Mark Picchiotti to name a few and which became hugely popular for the station.

In the same year he remixed Inaya Day’s track ‘Chase Me’. He produces and remixes under various monikers including Boofunk, Street Soul Players and Annie Lektro.
